Eline Denolf holds an MA in English Linguistics and Literature from Ghent University. She has professional experience in the cultural sector of Brussels and was trained as a literary translator at Vertalersvakschool in Antwerp. She is currently working on an interdisciplinary joint PhD in performance studies and translation studies at Ghent University and Macquarie University, Australia. Her research focuses on the translation of multilingual theatre produced in Brussels, with an emphasis on translator agency and translation process. She is also associated with the research groups S:PAM (Studies in Performing Arts & Media) and TRACE (Translation and Culture) at Ghent University.
